Vintage - A Moon Ride at Night,

A vintage children's book illustration by Florence Mary Anderson is a nighttime scene that looks like it could be from a dream. A young boy, girl and baby sit on and ride a crescent moon across a starry sky while three childlike fairies are nearby. One fairy is holding up the bottom of the moon as if to steady or guide it, another is standing on the edge of the moon just behind the group of children, while a third flies overhead. The English artist, Florence Mary Anderson (1874-1930) also illustrated under her maiden name Molly MacArthur or Florence Mary MacArthur. She was a book illustrator, wood engraver and children’s author. Her work was influenced by the British School of Fairy Art. This card is blank inside for your own message.

This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
