Vintage 1920s Woman in Black Hat,

A vintage illustration by Sergio Bompard features a beautiful woman of the 1920s era wearing a large-brimmed black hat with a blue ribbon hat band. The Italian artist, Sergio Bompard, is a mystery as far as his life. Little is known about him and little is published online about him except that he was a prolific artist who specialised in illustrations for magazines and postcards during the World War I era. His subject matter was primarily beautiful women of the time, however, he also painted romantic couples, art deco style illustrations of women in the latest fashions (often with greyhound dogs), as well as children. This card is blank inside for your own message.
