Vincent Van Gogh Starry Night Over the Rhone
Starry Night Over the Rhone (September 1888) is one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings of Arles at night time in Arles. It was painted at a spot on the bank of the Rhone River that was only a one or two-minute walk from the Yellow House on the Place Lamartine which Post-Impressionist artist Van Gogh was renting at the time. The night sky and the effects of light at night provided the subject for some of his more famous paintings, including Cafe Terrace at Night (painted earlier the same month) and the later canvas from Saint-Rémy, The Starry Night.

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
