    About This Design

Very Large Array at sunset Magnet

Very Large Array As Sun Sets Along the barren New Mexico landscape in-between the two very small towns of Magdalena and Datil on the plains of San Agustin lies the VLA. Even if you have never been here you may think, you have seen parts of the VLA before, a movie perhaps? You would be correct the VLA has been featured in several movies such as 2010; the year we make contact, Terminator salvation, contact, as well as Cosmos: A Personal Voyage. Are we alone in the universe? For all one knows, the answer to that question is found on the plains of St. Augustin. Photo by Ruth Jolly.

Was very happy with the magnet. Cropping was as expected, corners are rounded. Good material. Magnet sticks well to fridge, as expected. The quality of the printing was good. I have tried other companies in the past which turned out too pixilated, was happy with the quality. Only thing was that they printed a bit on the dark side. Colour not as bright as on my computer.

It was given as an early Christmas gift to my sister-in-law as a joke because she quite enjoys a daily tipple - fortunately she was most amused. Wonderfully - quite clear and not too obtrusive.
