Venus Flytrap Carnivorous Plant Cushion

Venus Flytrap Carnivorous Plant Cushion

This stylish throw pillow features colourful botanical art of the Venus Flytrap. Perfect for fans of carnivorous plants. The background colour can be changed if you’d like, just go to customise. Makes a unique gift for a botanist, gardener, landscaper or anyone who loves plants and nature. Want this or a similar design on another item? Browse my BotanicalArt Shop. The Venus Flytrap, scientific name Dionaea muscipula, catches and digests its prey, mostly insects and arachnids, in the trapping structure, which is formed by the terminal part of the plants leaves, and is triggered by tiny hairs on their inner surfaces. Native to coastal North and South Carolina, it grows in open bogs. It is also a popular cultivated plant.

Great quality but more importantly this cushion is unique and forms one of three in the Alice in Wonderland series for a daybed for the grandchildren when they stay over. Imaginative and fun. Lovely quality and colours
