Venice Simplon Orient Express Vintage Poster
Venice Simplon Orient Express, Venice. VSOE Vintage Travel Poster. This travel poster was produced in 1979 promoting the Orient Express which ran between London, Paris, and Venice. Artist has used a window in the shape of ‘The Lion of Venice’ which frames his illustration of San Marco. Doge’s Palace can clearly be seen with St Mark’s Basilica and Campanile (the bell tower) in the background whilst a silhouette of a gondola passes in front. The train itself speeds by in the foreground.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
