'Vanishing' was photographed at Mount St. Helens, located in Washington State. This landscape was decimated during the May 18, 1980 eruption and is now seeing life slowly return to the volcanic area. Whilst many lava coated lands can flourish again, much of the Earth is being destroyed by humans and may never return to a lively landscape or bountiful waterway.
