Chosen by Odin, half of those that die in combat travel to Valhalla upon death, led by Valkyries, while the other half go to the goddess Freya's field Fólkvangr. In Valhalla, the dead join the masses of those who have died in combat known as Einherjar, as they prepare to aid Odin during the events of Ragnarök.

I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her. Unfortunately my first order was deemed lost in the mail which meant it didn't arrive in time to give my daughter when she finished Uni.
