V&A Gold Cockatoo Greeting Card
The image features the "Cockatoo" wallpaper, a late Victorian design created by Walter Crane (1845–1915) in 1891. Produced by the English manufacturer Jeffrey & Co., this intricate pattern is a hallmark of the Arts and Crafts movement. The symmetrical composition includes two confronting cockatoos perched above a large iris flower and a pomegranate fruit.
This piece is part of the collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London.
