The amphibious transport dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46) cruises off the coast of carribian island of Curacao, during operations in support of exercise "Relieve Discomfort". Training is aimed at improving Standing Naval Forces, Atlantic's (SNFL) operational capability to undertake humanitarian aid and disaster relief. Other countries participating during the exercise were the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark Spain, the United Kingdom, and Canada. (Photograph by Photographer's Mate 1st Class Martin Maddock).

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
