This is the third image I've restored of this fine ship. I believe that they were all taken at the same time about the turn of the last century. In none of the pictures she flies any flags. My thought is that she was been struck from the list at this time. She is now lovingly perserved at Baltimore: the last Civil War-vintage ship afloat. Tthere are now three fine views of this ship suitable for any Charm City home, workplace or pub.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
