It was easy to customize the tile to state where the picture is from. Yes, the tile is fairly thin but works as a decorative tile, not sure how well it would work as a trivet. I display my tiles on a table with glass covering the whole top. The text could be put anywhere on the tile or whatever additional image you want to put on the tile. very clear printing and looked just as seen on website.
