US Marines: Chief Warrant Four (USMC CWO-4) [3D]
Introducing project “Military Insignia 3D”, featuring top quality military heraldry designs. Here you will find customisable apparel, accessories, custom postage and gifts decorated with rank insignia of a U.S. Marine Chief Warrant Officer Four (USMC CWO-4). The duties US Marine warrant officers typically fulfil are those that would normally call for the authority of a commissioned officer. However, they require an additional level of technical proficiency and practical experience that a commissioned officer would not have had the opportunity to achieve. An enlisted marine can apply for the warrant officer program after serving at least eight years of enlisted service, and reaching the grade of sergeant (paygrade E-5) for the administrative warrant officer program or after serving at least sixteen years of enlisted service and reaching the grade of gunnery sergeant (paygrade E-7) for the weapons warrant officer program. If the Marine NCO is selected, he or she is given additional leadership and management training during the Warrant Officer Basic Course (WOBC), conducted at The Basic School in Quantico, Virginia. The United States Marine Corps MOS 0306, Infantry Weapons Officers, commonly referred to as "The Gunner" or "Marine Gunner" are non-technical Chief Warrant Officers that are weapons specialists and are knowledgeable in the tactical employment of all the weaponry in Marine Corps arsenal - all weapons organic to the Marine infantry units. The Gunner is a Chief Warrant Officer specifically trained in the employment and training of battalion organic weapons and assigned personnel. He is a special staff officer employed as the principal advisor to commander at all levels to assist in the development of training plans and employment of organic weapons. During combat, the Gunner may be tasked to inspect fire plans to ensure organic fires are integrated and mutually supporting at the battalion level, perform other supervisory tasks at critical events, and/or command task organised or provisional combat units. CWO-4s are senior-level experts in their chosen field, primarily supporting battalion, brigade, division, corps, and echelons above corps operations. They typically have special mentorship responsibilities for other WOs and provide essential advice to commanders on WO issues. Experienced leaders, they possess a proven ability to meet each and every challenge head on, pursuing victory at all times with tireless resolve and unfailing confidence. Renowned for their razor sharp analytical skills and their hands-on approach to problem-solving, they are respected by their superiors and admired by all those in their command. Providing critical recommendations on tactical matters of the highest importance, they play a crucial role in the success of America's global military campaigns.
