University of Beringia Football Helmet Coaster
A representation of the mythical University of Beringia's, established in 20000 BCE, iconic primitive Woolly Mammoth mascot on a football helmet along with text reading, "BERINGIA." Beringia is the name given to the Bering land bridge and areas of both Alaska and Siberia which bordered upon it. The Woolly Mammoth image has a primitive-ish feel to it - after all the school was established 22000 years ago, long before modern materials and printers. The U of B's programs in Arctic ecology, wildlife management and lithic microblade engineering are unmatched. Go Mammoths!

I'm not sure how much moisture these will soak up, haven't had a chance to try them out, but they look good and I like the cork backing. The printing is fine ~ and really looks cool with an artisan's hand made "Hurricane Martini" glass sitting on top of my painting (on the coaster) in my studio.

Beautiful horse drawing on this coaster makes it a great conversation piece. Artist is very talented! The printing Zazzle did is nice and crisp, but not as black as I would have liked and the edges had some execess on them But some sandpaper fixed the issue
