United States National Flag Magnet

National flag of the USA The American flag has 13 horizontal stripes in red and white, together with a blue rectangle in the canton area. The rectangle contains nine rows of white five-pointed stars, representing the 50 states. The flag dates back to 1777, with the current version being adopted in 1960. Other names for the flag include 'The Star Spangled Banner', the 'Stars and Stripes' and 'Old Glory'.
