A very atmospheric scene of a melancholy girl holding a lovely skull of what appears to be a unicorn. In the background you can see the famous mediaeval Unicorn Tapestry hanging on the wall (now in the Moyen Museum (Musee de Cluny) in Paris. This piece debuted at the Dragon*Con Art Show in 2012 and the original painting itself had a custom frame by Jasmine's husband Matt - a very unique shield shaped frame in a dark patina finish with a Jasmine fairy face carved into the ornamentation at the top. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
