Title：出雲松江（おぼろ月）[ izumo matsue (oboro zuki) / いずもまつえ (おぼろづき) / Matsue, Izumo (hazy moon) ] from the Selection of Scenic Views of Japan.
This is a landscape of warehouses and rivers in the historic streets of Matsue, Shimane Prefecture. This is one of a trilogy, depicting a hazy moon.
Artist :川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui / かわせ はすい)
Kawase Hasui (May 18, 1883 - November 7, 1957) was a woodblock print artist active during the Taisho and Showa periods. He established the world of new prints in an attempt to revive the declining Japanese ukiyoe prints. His works were highly acclaimed overseas, and he has been called the "Hiroshige of the Showa period. Please enjoy the world of casual Japanese scenery and impressive multicolored prints.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
