Title：春のあたご山（haru no Atago yama / はるの あたごやま / Atagoyama Hill in Spring from the series “Twelve Scenes of Tokyo”) 「東京十二題」より Mt. Atago is a small hill 26 metres above sea level in Atago, Minato-ku, Tokyo. Children are collecting cherry blossoms in the precincts of Atago Shrine. Artist :川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui / かわせ はすい) 川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui (May 18, 1883 - November 7, 1957)) was a woodblock print artist active during the Taisho and Showa periods. He established the world of new prints in an attempt to revive the declining Japanese ukiyoe prints. His works were highly acclaimed overseas, and he has been called the "Hiroshige of the Showa period.
