Ukiyoe [Goyo] Evening moon (XL) Poster
Title : 神戸之宵月（kōbe no yoizuki / こうべ の よいづき） depicts a night view of Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. 宵月 is an evening moon.
Artist : 橋口 五葉（はしぐち ごよう / Hashiguchi Goyō) (December 21, 1881 - February 24, 1921) was active as a binding artist of literary books and a researcher of Ukiyoe during the late Meiji and Taisho periods. In his final years, he died suddenly just as he was about to break new ground as a new print artist.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
