"和漢百物語 (Wakan hyaku monogatari)“ is a series based on Japanese and Chinese horror stories and heroic anecdotes by 月岡芳年 (Tsukioka Yoshitoshi).
＊No.2 伊賀局・藤原仲成霊（Igano tsubone・ Fujiwarano nakanari no rei / いがの つぼね・ふじわらの なかなり の れい)
伊賀局 (Igano tsubone) is a powerful lady in the service of the Imperial Palace. One summer night in the garden, there was a youkai calling for tsubone. Her asked her who he was.
The youkai said I was 藤原仲成 (Fujiwara no Nakanari) and had a grudge against 廉子 (Yasuko)(Concubinage of 後醍醐天皇 (Emperor Go-Daigo)). When tsubone told the youkai that she would help him, the youkai disappeared.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
