Ugandan Mother & Baby Gorilla Postcard

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a large primeval forest located in southwestern Uganda. The forest is one of the most biologically diverse areas on Earth, where half the world's population of the highly endangered Mountain Gorillas live in its jungles. I trekked for 7 hours through the jungle to find the gorillas but the encounter when I got there was more than worth the effort. They are beautiful animals and although I wasn't allowed close to them or to stay for long, it's a memory that will live with me.
