The Uffington White Horse is a highly stylized prehistoric hill figure, 374 feet (110 m) long, cut into the turf to reveal the underlying white chalk. The figure occurs on the upper slopes of White Horse Hill in the English parish of Uffington. It has been dated to 1400-600 BCE and may represent Beli Mawr,the Celtic God of the Sun. A different take on this famous geoglyph, rendered as though made from copper with an aged patina.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
