Relive o-chem (or currently live it) with a LabKitty amino acid mug set! Each mug contains one of the 20 amino acids, rendered in loving two-dimensional detail. Relative molecule sizes and bond angles as best I could suss from my build-a-molecule kit results. Single, double, and triple bonds are not distinguished -- you'll just have to count what's stuck to what. And, of course, you get the classic build-a-molecule kit colour scheme: carbons in black, oxygens in red, nitrogens in baby blue, sulphurs in yellow and hydrogens in white. On the flip side is the amino acid name and the chemical formula of the side chain. This one is tyrosine. Get valuable chemistry review every time you slurf! Customisable.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
