Tyrian Purple Tie
Tyrian purple is a dark, saturated purple. The colour, the original colour purple from which the name is derived, is the colour of a dye extracted from a mollusk found on the shores of the city of Tyre in ancient Phoenicia (present day Lebanon). In classical antiquity it was a symbol of royalty because only the very wealthy could afford it. It's also known as imperial purple.
