Two Venetian Women Coffee Mug

This design features a painting by the Italian artist Eugene de Blaas (1843–1931). It depicts two women from the Italian city of Venice, in the northeastern region of Veneto. The women are smiling amorously at the viewer. One of the women has brown hair and the other has black hair; both women have curls of ringlets in their hair. They are wearing traditional Venetian dress. The lady on the left is holding a white rose and a pink rose in her hand, perhaps as a symbol of romantic love. The original art was painted in 1898.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
