His work does not belong to any traditional art movement or school, but became highly influential because of his particular individual style and originality. This particular artwork was illustrated for the children's book called "Knave of Hearts", published by Charles Scribners and Sons in 1925.

This poster is excellent and the Archival Heavyweight Paper I ordered it on is just what I wanted. The fine art print is excellent for this paper weight and gives the print a more polished look. The printing turned out excellent also. Every detail shows and the color is vibrant. I ordered this for my chef daughter and she loves it!

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
