Two Cows in a Stable (by Eric Ravilious) Stone Coaster

This design features a painting by the British artist Eric Ravilious (1903–1942). It depicts two cows lying down in a stable on a farm. We are looking into the stable through an open door. The cows both have tails and horns on their heads. One of the cows is brown and the other cow is black. The stable is made out of wood with hay on the floor to make it more comfortable for the animals. The original artwork was painted by Eric Ravilious in 1935.

The coasters are gorgeous, a quality feel and heavy weight. They look like a precious archeological find. A rustic stone juxtaposed with a modern floral black and white print. I like the way the print goes slightly imperfect on the cut stone edges giving them a kind-of natural beauty. They are a great product and I use them to protect the arms of my couch from hot cups of coffee. Printing is good happy with the quality.
