This T-Shirt is based on Twisted Fleur de Lis metal sculptures that can be viewed at www.twistedfleurdelis.com. Metal sculptures with a New Orleans twist. The first steel fleur de lis pieces were made within weeks after Hurricane Katrina's wrath inflicted heavy devastation in my hometown, Slidell, LA. Why the Twist? The twisting was initially done to suggest the extreme rotational forces of Hurricane Katrina but it also came represent the status of the area after the storm. Ordered the Irish terrier t shirt. I love it! There was a slight issue with sizing ( my fault) but their customer service was amazing. New t shirt within 5 days. I recommend getting 1 to 2 sizes bigger. I am wearing Men's size large.
