This Hooded Sweatshirt is based on Twisted Fleur de Lis metal sculptures that can be viewed at www.twistedfleurdelis.com. Metal sculptures with a New Orleans twist. The first steel fleur de lis pieces were made within weeks after Hurricane Katrina's wrath inflicted heavy devastation in my hometown, Slidell, LA. Why the Twist? The twisting was initially done to suggest the extreme rotational forces of Hurricane Katrina but it also came represent the status of the area after the storm. This is one of the warmest jumpers I have ever bought. Great fit and hard wearing fabric. Especially love the way the cord in the hood is sewn at the top so it can never come out. Everybody thought they were great - I've been asked to order more! The wording and font turned out excellent. I was slightly disapointed in the image logo on the back of the hoodie. However either making this image lighter in colour or the hoodie a lighter colour would have made it stand out better. However, I'm still extremely happy with the product.
