This Hooded Sweatshirt is based on Twisted Fleur de Lis metal sculptures that can be viewed at www.twistedfleurdelis.com. Metal sculptures with a New Orleans twist. The first steel fleur de lis pieces were made within weeks after Hurricane Katrina's wrath inflicted heavy devastation in my hometown, Slidell, LA. Why the Twist? The twisting was initially done to suggest the extreme rotational forces of Hurricane Katrina but it also came represent the status of the area after the storm.
