Twelve Cats Drumming... Holiday

Updated for 2014, this is the twelfth design in the award-winning collection, "The Twelve Cats of Christmas" by Jane Sayre Denny, spoofing the famous holiday song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas" wherein on each of the 12 days before Christmas, "my true love sent to me..." some wild animal or unruly mob. Our designs replace each day's gift with cats... much preferable, we think, to the cacophony of noisy birds and mayhem in the song. I mean, if he was really my true love, shouldn't he have sent cats? And since cats do things their own way, the festivities are not what you expect! In the twelfth verse of our song, we trade the famous Twelve Drummers Drumming for Twelve Cats Drumming.... er, kneading on their favourite pillows. The full set includes: 12 Cats Drumming, 11 Cats Piping, 10 Cats a-Leaping, 9 Kitties Prancing, 8 Manx a-Milking, 7 Swats (No Swimming), 6 Cats a-Laying, 5 Golden Cats, 4 Calling Cats, 3 French Cats, 2 Tortoise Shell Cats, And a Persian in a Pear Tree.
