A one-ruble Russian postage stamp from the Tsarist period, issued in 1889 (Scott Catalogue number 45), showing the imperial double-headed eagle; superimposed on an "old paper" background image to resemble an aged, antique envelope. The arched Cyrillic text reads "Pochtovaya Marka (postage stamp);" the text below that reads "1. Roob (ruble, abbreviated)." The stamp is "cancelled" with text reading "MOCKBA" (MOSKVA - Moscow).

I gave several of these 10" sleeves as Christmas gifts this year, I was a bit nervous about what the image was going to look like when I ordered them and I placed my order in at the last minute. I was very happy with the results of the printing and color and most importantly the arrived on time and they were a hit as gifts. I created this image along with many others but I had not seen the final product until I decided to give them out as Christmas gifts and I was blown away at the quality of the printing and colors, they were more than I thought it was going to be. I am very pleased with the quality and attention Zazzle has given me and I will be giving more of my work on Zazzle as gifts in the future. Perfect.
