About This Design

Tree Bark Texture Large Knothole Poster

Tree Bark Texture Large Knothole Poster

This tree bark texture photograph showcases a beautiful large knothole on the tree. Like a little round cameo, this knothole sits as a round ornament at the base of a majestic tree. It shows a mysterious design formed by nature: what can it be? A person sitting and looking off to the left, perhaps, or maybe a spider's web? Like a drawing created by this beautiful tree, this knothole image will intrigue and tantalise you, sending you off in many imaginative directions. I like to think of it as a tree spirit, etching a self-portrait on this textured knothole photograph. Enjoy this wonderful image on a poster - a great gift for yourself or friends and loved ones! See into the mystery of the tree spirit!

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
