So beautiful-- etching is so beautifully rendered, and archival heavyweight paper raising level of this so above the level of a poster-- in moments of extreme seventh- and ninth-grade induced weariness, I can deeply sink into a blessedly peaceful daydream that includes a tete-a-tete with Will. Occasional moment when I forget I'm not in a museum; or, at the very least, flipping through my new folio hot off the press with Renaissance-era London spread out at the feet my mullioned window.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
