Tim Hunkin's Adnams Brewery poster
I was asked to draw this poster of Adnams brewery in 1976. I spent three weeks there working on it and had a really great time. So much so that I moved from London to Suffolk soon afterwards.
The brewery still looks much the same from the outside today, but inside its completely changed. Behind the facade of the original building and the terrace of cottages beside is a stainless steel chemical works that could be making anything. It would make a perfect film set for an evil mastermind plotting the end of the world. But fortunately the beer is still delicious and I drink it almost every day.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
