I'm sure there is a story here: A girl once found a silver string, a magical string that could grant a wish; what she didn't know was that it was a moonbeam...... so when she wished she could have the moon for her very own , on the end of the string, she was actually restoring it to its rightful place. She played that night with the moon on a string - but come the morning, the string dissolved into the first light of dawn..... or something like that. The images come from a children's book published around 1900.

I originally ordered 1 tie to test and ensure I liked it with the suits we had ordered! The tie came and it was perfect! We loved it! The colours were bright and the tie was beautifully made. I then ordered the 6 additional ties and the colours are slightly different. The 6 ties were a little less vibrant and the white background was slightly different! .
