Green Tara embodies the active compassion of all Buddhas and is said to protect against the eight kinds of fear. Likewise, she is said to increase primordial wisdom and is praised for her wish-fulfilling qualities. She is said to have special speed in fulfilling wishes and protecting against danger. Although Green Tara is also said to fulfil worldly wishes, her real purpose is to lead practitioners to enlightenment.
This is an ancient thanka whose colours I refreshed a bit with Photoshop.

While I would certainly have preferred to have this quirky poster framed, for what I could afford, this poster option was great. It looks really good on my wall and I'm sure will draw some interesting comments. I'm very happy with the printing quality and colours.
