The Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 culminated in the Tiananmen Square massacre (referred to in China as the June 4 Incident) near Tiananmen Square in Beijing in the People's Republic of China (PRC). Demonstrations were led mainly by students and intellectuals, who were eventually crushed by the military and security forces of the government. But one iconic image has remained, and that is Tank Man, the unknown brave civilian who stood in front of the tanks, risking his own life. Now TankMan is a work of art, rendered in an ultra modern Obamaesque pop art design. Never forget! Customise this product any way you like. The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
