These three commercial fishing trawlers are part of a small company fleet of fishing vessels and they all have a black hull and white wheel house with red trim. This photo was taken in Dutch Harbour out on the spit on a sunny winter's day. The water of the bay is like glass, reflecting the fishing boats which are tied one outside of the other next to a blue barge. Ulakta Head, which is the north end of Ballyhoo Mountain can be seen in the background.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
