Maruni Sangai-bishi Bicycle Playing Cards

The design is described in 'Monsho' (a book on family crests) written by Masami Takeda, an upper painter, published in 1925, as 'a rhombus is a shape formed by combining two equilateral triangles' (a geometrically rhombus). However, 'Monsho' states that if a crest is created with this rhombus as is, the height of the rhombus will be too low and it will look weak, and explains the following method for determining the crest (the rhombus in the family crest). Matsukawabishi and Sangai-bishi are created from a geometrically rhombus, not the rhombus in the family crest.
