This art form is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Almost anyone can use it to create beautiful images. It increases focus and creativity, provides artistic satisfaction along with an increased sense of personal well being. It is enjoyed all over the world across a wide range of skills, interests and ages. Life is an art form and this method is an elegant metaphor for deliberate artistry in life. I encourage everyone to give it a try, it can become very addictive! For my watercolor paintings, I use the 'limited palette' of the three primary colours. This produces all the shades and hues you see in my paintings. Red, yellow and blue transparent watercolor in both warm and cool shades can be mixed to obtain any colour in the spectrum. I find I have more control over the final results. My artwork covers a wide range of subjects. I paint whimsically humourous, one-of-a-kind art to serious fine art. However, my passion is painting portraiture of animals and people. I love to capture the emotion of the moment. Both subjects have their own personalities. This makes the end result very challenging AND rewarding. I accept private commissions, working from good photographs. My medium is watercolor. However, I also work with graphite.
