Threads of Transgression Arachne's Transformation Playing Cards

“Threads of Transgression” - Arachne's Transformation. A dramatic depiction of Arachne's fateful metamorphosis, this artwork captures the exact moment of divine punishment, blending anguish, elegance, and eerie surrealism. Baroque grandeur and dark fantasy meet as Arachne begins her tragic transformation. Her opulent spider-leg headdress glimmers with irony, symbolising the talent that led to her downfall, immortalising an age-old lesson on hubris and consequence.
