Thomas Jefferson Quote: Too Much Government Bumper Sticker

Founding father and third US president, Thomas Jefferson said, " Most bad government results from too much government. That government is best which governs the least because its people discipline themselves." I'm thinking that a government that's buying up the finance industry, the automobile industry, and eying the entire national health care industry with longing is maybe not the government that governs best. And I can certainly not discipline myself. I desperately need my federal government to tell my what I can eat, how much I should weigh, and how to approach treating my illnesses.
