A gentle, museum-style card from my Re·Generation series—reviving heirloom artwork from my family archives and presenting it for today. Soft mist-blue matting frames two classical figures with a lyre; the front reads “Thinking of You.” Blank inside for your message. Designed in Waikanae, New Zealand. This card was originally painted by my great grandmother in 1918 - now able to be shared worldwide as a thoughtful note card to let those you love know you are thinking of them.

Most condolence cards inscriptions seem too impersonal to me; it's hard to find one right for expressing sympathy with someone who has experienced a death, serious illness or other loss. I liked the ray of light on this card, suggesting a path forward. I was a little surprised when the card arrived to realize it is actually not a card that opens, but just a card, with space on back to write -- so this is most appropriate for short note rather than letter. Quite a lovely photo, and I like the flower detail on reverse side of card.
