Theosophical alphabet of Jakob Böhme, translated as Jacob Bohem or Jacob Boehme, as found on this frontispiece to his book Alle Theosophische Schriften, "All Theosophical Writings", published posthumously in 1682. Böhme was first a shoemaker, but after a spiritual vision, he became interested in the writings of Paracelsus and the Rosecrucians. His writings combined German mysticism with the bible, which was found to be heretical by the church elders.
A compass points to the all seeing eye wearing a crown in the heavens, and also manifest in the material world at the centre of the esoteric alphabet, showing the even distribution of vowels in the sequence, mapped to the hours of the clock.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
