The Yorkshire Motto As everyone knows, Yorkshire is God’s Own Country, and at PotOil Studios we have created this mug in celebration of the fact. The origins of The Yorkshire Motto are unclear (we can’t take the credit for writing it) but it expresses much of what it means to be from Yorkshire. This mug would make an ideal talking point for your home or office …. or gift for Yorkshiremen and Yorkshirewomen anywhere. Or perhaps even to send to jealous southerners or other foreigners elsewhere. As well as the world famous white rose of Yorkshire the mug is illustrated with the official flags, as issued by the UK Flag Registry, of the West Riding, North Riding and East Riding of Yorkshire.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
