The Yellow Christ, Gauguin Cushion
Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin (7 June 1848 – 8 May 1903) was a French Post-Impressionist artist. Unappreciated until after his death, Gauguin is now recognised for his experimental use of colour and Synthetist style that were distinct from Impressionism. Towards the end of his life, he spent ten years in French Polynesia. The paintings from this time depict people or landscapes from that region.
His work was influential to the French avant-garde and many modern artists, such as Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse. Gauguin's art became popular after his death, partially from the efforts of art dealer Ambroise Vollard, who organised exhibitions of his work late in his career and assisted in organising two important posthumous exhibitions in Paris. I absolutely love this product. I turned out even better than I expected too. I bought this for my mother for Mother's Day and she really loves it, she shows it too everyone she can and they all love it as well and want to know where I bought it from. The design turned out perfect, the printing of the words is fantastic they were so clear and easy to read, the color was also nicer than I thought it would be plus the images are so clear to see. I myself can't seem to keep looking at it, it's just gorgeous I love it, it couldn't have turned out any better
