The map, first published by National Geographic in December 1981, shows the seabed, reefs, ditches and "mountains". In addition, the physical properties of all seven continents are represented, from the driest deserts to the rainforests. The mountain ranges have a shaded relief and are highlighted in this way particularly beautiful. Many beautiful details make this world map to something very special!

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
