This amazing art was created as a cloth tapestry between 1495 and 1505 AD. This vintage art depicts a unicorn in captivity, tethered to a tree and confined by a fence. However, the tether is loose and the fence is low! The unicorn is situated under a pomegranate tree and the fruit is dripping juices on the white coat of the unicorn. So, what may appear to be blood on the animal is actually pomegranate juice. The magical, fantasy creature will escape when the time is right.
