The Tour Arrives in Paris Mouse Pad

Only the final stage from Longjumeau - a new stage town, in Essonne - to Paris is left, and the caravan rides France’s high-speed rail system to the northern city from Bordeaux. The Tour follows tradition, and the final stage finishes with a circuit on the Champs Elysées, a tantalising prize for the sprinters. With this year’s mountainous course, the final sprint victory will not come easily. All riders are relaxed and they make fun until the circuit on the Champs Elysées. However when they pass the Eiffel Tower the speed is high, everybody are making themself ready for 10 circuits of high-speed riding. The yellow jersey (maillot jaune) is worn by the general classification leader. Since 1975, there has been a competition for young riders - the best wears the white jersey (maillot blanc). The green jersey (maillot vert) is awarded for sprint points. The King of the Mountains wears a white jersey with red dots (maillot à pois rouges).
