The Three-Toed Sloth Value Poster Paper

The Three-Toed Sloths are mammals of Costa Rica, South America and Central America. Sloths, from the tropical rainforest wildlife usually found in a tree are lazy animals, slow, with brown hairy coats. The sloth is classified as folivores, seeing that the bulk of their diets consist of buds, tender shoots, and leaves, mainly of Cecropia trees. They have complete extraordinary adaptations to an arboreal browsing lifestyle. Leaves, their main food source, offer very little energy or nutrients, as well as do not digest easily. They are a very interesting breed of animals and very cute creatures. This capture was taken in Tortuguero National Park, Costa Rica.
